Gold for Exeter!
Exeter win gold at the Plymouth Touch Tournament! Exeter Touch Rugby win first place after beating Saltash in the final at the recent Plymouth OPM Touch Rugby Tournament.
The event included teams from across Devon and Cornwall and was set up as the inaugural tournament in the South West Touch Rugby League.
A new series which will run monthly events between touch clubs in the South West.
The event saw regulars Josh White and Paul Bayle play their last fixtures for the club before both moving from Exeter later this month.
Both scored in the final, including an extravagant pass where Paul used his height to move the egg over two defenders heads and put Josh through in the corner.
We wish them the best and look forward to seeing them for another run out in the future. ETR thanks Plymouth for hosting a great day.
We look forward to heading back to OPM for Round Two of the series on July 30th!
